Movie Review: HD DVD version

Wow. I had not seen this movie since the 90's. This HD DVD version almost makes it seem like a new movie. The Sound is awesome, the picture crisp for the most part. I was very pleaseantly surprised. It still has some of those lame, laughable moments, weird clothing typical of the 80's, and Tom Cruise's abnormally large buck teeth but all in all very enjoyable. I am personally rating Top Gun HD as a must have. If you watched it many years ago like I did then you were watching it in a state that gave it no just dues.
The sound track in HD is wonderful, and the details in the picture gave me chills! I recommend this classic to anyone who in joys this film, but have not gotten to the point of true HD.
It is worth you money!

I have an xbox 360 HD-DVD player and now they are cheap so buy all the HD-DVD you can its just as good as blue ray just cheaper. When blue ray is abit lower in price just buy that format. But Top Gun in HD-DVD is great the detail in the aircraft is cool you can even see where the ground crew have painted over the screws on the panels the detail is that good.Movie Review: top gun on hd dvd

i just git top gun on hd dvd todau from amazon.com and let me say frist off wow i have the xbox ad on and a ps3 so i dont go for hd dvd too much if i dont have to but this movie is the best one i have see so far on hd dvd now if you do like top gun but dont like just geeting a move and not a think morer so what this is one of the best hd-dvd i ownMovie Review: HD DVD

Obviously a fantastic movie. The HD DVD plays well, without any glitches. The best part for me is the audio, which is crystal clear and fantastic. The scenes at Top Gun and over the Indian Ocean are magnificient. I have this movie on SD as well, and this version is definitely better even than the SD upconverted version.
