Movie Review: T O O L IZ A R T

Why are they on two different disks? Because they are both exquisite works of art. With the release of Lateralus Tool transcendent into the realm of the spiritual art form with their conventional ties completely severed. Tool has grown over the past 10+ years and although the sounds of all the albums strike similarities between them, I believe the upcoming album will totally push the barriers of complexity and length of a single track to an unbelievable utopia of musical bliss. Parabola and Schism's intricate complexity and beauty are analogous to multidimensional calculus. Those who take the time will be rewarded. These DVD's honor the greatness of Lateralus and its two best tracks with a visual pleasing HD experience. True fans need only apply. The rest of you can wait for the new CD and compare it too the crap on the radio. All Tool preaching aside, these DVD's are to remind us drooling fans, and the ones who fell alseep after a 5 year wait, that the actual print is out: "LOOK FOR NEW TOOL RELEASE - SPRING 2006".... I don't really know why many people complaining about these 2 DVDs single, many people said that Tool tried to rip off with no much extras on the dvd, some said why they put 2 DVDs into 1 DVD. I can answer your questions that 'Yes ! Because this is Tool ! Not that other cheap Rock band, you can find everywhere !' I would not be happy if there'll be 5 remixes on each dvd, it would be a piece of junk !! I think if you are the person who really like art (not just only tool's music) will understand how worth of these separate DVDs. They are different song, they are DVD single (do you know the meaning of 'single' ?), they have their own theme,imagine and artwork. So why should it comes together in 1 DVD ? I even laugh when somebody said he was lucky that he did not buy these DVDs because there're not much extras so that he can burn it from his freid's copy. What are you talking about ?? These are the pieace of art for sell only US$ 6.00 each !! FOR GOD SAKE !!
Movie Review: Stop thinking and watch

If you buy this DVD or Parabola, one thing you must not do is keep asking why. Don't try to figure some hidden meaning out. Don't try to compare a real life event to what's happening on screen. Just watch the video and go do something ordinary. You'll find yourself thinking about it. Then just watch it some more, that's all I do. And when the time is right little men will pop out of your veins too. Just don't let them bite your face when you lie down. And don't wrap your face around someone else's, It'll stay that way. And the remix of the song (all 20 minutes, 13 seconds of it)is pretty much an easy way to learn the song on bass if you have a good ear.Movie Review: heres the thing

Ok, seriously man, some of you guys are overreacting and expecting too much out of these dvds. i bought schism, despite what some of the reviews said. i mean sh*t. whats 6 bucks, right? and then i thought about it. so yea, maybe the commentary isnt exactly mind altering stuff, but i mean... what the f*ck do you want in a dvd thats 6 bucks. i bought it cuz its a cool f*ckin video by a cool f*ckin band with some cool artwork to hold the dvd in. tool isnt getting lazy. theyre just giving you a really cool video for your own collection, dont be a d*ck and ask for more than that man. its title reads schism/parabola. thats what you get in the dvd.Movie Review: worth the money

This dvd is a must for all Tool fans. The video is directed by Adam Jones and is another computer generated masterpiece and is mixed in 5.1 digital sound making it even better watching through a good home entertainment system!!!!!! The best part of this dvd is the 20+ minute remix of the song "Schism", this is a great version of the song!!!!!!!!The packaging is also great, nothing compares to great digipak packaging!! So if you are a diehard Tool fan or collector, this dvd is a must to complete your collection. So get you wallet out and spend the $7.00 on this dvd because it is well worth the money.
