Movie Review: Supeb Sound
Summary: 5 Stars
That's what I noticed first. Superb DVD audio. I saw this tour four times. I enjoyed the DVD more than most of the shows. Every instrument is balanced beautifully and subtly. The video production is very nice as well. I am entrhalled by the quality of the auditory experience, and what makes it better than a live show to me is that there are no screaming idiots or babbling drunks on the soundtrack. I love it, buy it, you'll love it too. A classic Todd rundgren creation!Movie Review: Great Tour & DVD

I love the Liars CD.
I think it is some of TR's best work.
As fan who did not come to know TR's work until the late 90s I am pleased that much of this DVD involves his newer songs including some greats from Liars like PAST.
Shot at the Egg in Albany NY the camera zooms about hither and yon, up and over, but it's all nicely edited and sounds very good on my headphones.
Can't wait to hear what is next from TR. Word is that will come soon.

Wow,Got the liar's dvd and just love it.While searching for something other than the usual inane.Let's record the same old live show DVD.I spotted Liars.I was a Todd fan from old days and lost appreciation of him.What a home run! So refreshing to hear an artist who can make you THINK,be very visual, and write and sing his ass off! Thank you Todd for some truth during these UNTRUTHFULL times.

Movie Review: Edited after viewing

I originally wrote a pre-review expecting a great product and gave it 5 potential stars. But. after viewing it I give it 2 stars.....1 for TR and one for the music. The presentation is horrendous and embarrassing...I find the lighting to be annoying to the point of unwatchable. I rarely..if ever watch it. I'd rather listen to the album. This had such potential and it turned out to be such a bust.Movie Review: Another Great TODD!!!

Saw a large chunk of this on IN DEMAND cable TV, and it is great, much better than the CD from which many of the tunes came from. BRILLIANT cover of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", and really interesting set design, superb backing band including Kasim Sulton , Prairie Prince and Jesse Gress. Who says new music can't be great? Even the RAP he does is a step above the rest. Definitely a must-have.
