Movie Reviews of Titanic

Movie Review: Zhaneisha's 1st review
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a movie that I really enjoyed, and it is a movie that I paid attention too. The name of the movie is Titanic, and I love that movie. When I had first seen it with my sister I couldn't stop watching it. When I had to get up and do something I would tell my sister to pause the move so that I wouldn't miss any part of it, but on the other movies I would have said "Let it keep going." The movie is a great movie, and you would love it to if you see it too.
So I would like to give you some details about it, and then you will know why I love it so much. Well the charters names are Jack and Rose, and Rose boyfriend, and they're going somewhere, because they're supposed to go get married at some place. That is why they have to travel on the boat Titanic. Jack the boy he is at a place playing cards for a bag of money, and he had won the game, so then he began to run for he could get on the boat. He had made it just in time, and he had got on the boat and ran to the front of the boat, and go closed his eyes, stuck his hands out and he felt like he was flying. While
Rose was on a date with her boyfriend, but then she had left and she seen Jack, and Jack had took her to a party. She had a lot of fun, so will Rose start going with Jack and cheat on her boyfriend, but that is all I can tell you if you want to know more go get the movie and watch it.
You can tell from this movie is that you can love someone in first sight. This movie is a true story, which had very surprised me when I first saw it. Here is one more detail, at the end of the movie some people will die and some people will stay alive, but please watch the movie for more details and for you can see what happens with Jack, Rose, and Rose's boyfriend. This movie is a great movie, so watch and pay attention to it!

Movie Review: A film for the ages
Summary: 5 Stars

Rented the video tape ... bought two DVDs of TITANIC and LOVED it.
Leonardo DiCaprio was marvelous as was Billy Zane and the rest of the male cast.
The females were too wooden and stereotypical however; Kate Winslow was either sniveling over mean old Cal or drooling over Jack (who can blame her? and NO I am NOT a teenager )... Francis Fisher was the cardboard snot and Kathy Bates a buffoonish and fictional Molly Brown.
The photography and special effects were beautifully rendered and the storyline was clean and clear.
The love story was pure Romeo and Juliet with a touch of modern feelings to it.
The tragedy at the end will be hard for some to take post 9-11: unlike Star Wars, Star Trek , Lord or the Rings et al not only the "bad" guys die and the violence is not comic book : real people good and bad die horrible deaths.
But it is an excellent film and I went into it not wanting to like it.
I LOVE this film : had you guessed?

BUT
as far as the new DVD Ultimate collection is concerned
This film was good as a story but lousy as FACT.
Mr Cameron has the usual Leftist idea that if Reality and his plastic wishes collide Reality loses. It doesn't.
Further, his comments on social mores (in light of his lack of contribution to the betterment of the world as a whole) is funny.
Also funny was "Clint the Cool Guy" (he thinks) who said for some strange reason that this flick shows that the Moral Beliefts are "Religious type" (ie Christians) are false or "convenient"... eh??
Christians did not make this film Clint, nor star in it.
You silly comments show constipation not competence as a film critic.
Still, have a nice day.

Movie Review: UNFORGETTABLE PIECE OF HISTORY!!
Summary: 5 Stars

i'm not even going to go into detail about this movie, because i don't think there's anyone who hasn't seen it, or heard about it. one of the best movies ever made no doubt. titanic, is a piece of history brought to life on the big screen, and adding a sweet romance to it became a sensation all across the globe. it was a tragedy what happened to this beautiful ship, and especially to all the people on board who lost there lives in this disaster. i can't even imagine what they went through. one minute you're safe and warm, and the next you're fighting for your life. everything is so well and organized according to class, but in the end there's nothing but chaos, and in death there is no class. very real, very sad, and very emotional. the fact that it's hugely based on real events makes it that much more painful. in this movie they bring all that and add a little touch of romance. leonardo dicaprio and kate winslet. beautiful couple, excellent chemistry, and a very believable romance. at all cost they want to be together. it's that love at first sight that surpasses class, fedelity, and wealth. there's not a care in the world as long as they have each other.(sigh)now that's great movie making. they both shot to stardom after these roles. titanic made them who they are. billy zane was a great villian. he did all he could to make her love him, but you can't control matters of the heart. the way the story is told was a great idea, the old rose retelling the best days of her life, wich she shared with the love of her life. then she goes in peace to reunite with her jack. brilliant. lovely. great. if you haven't seen it, i do not know where you've been, but it's defenitely an A+.

Movie Review: One Of My Five Favorite Movies Ever!
Summary: 5 Stars

Anyone who knows me knows my all time favorite movie is, of course, Carrie. I will never ever cry harder than I did when I saw that movie. It is such a tragedy, but so beautiful and so resonant. I can't decide whether Chasing Amy is my second favorite movie, or Titanic. However, I know Titanic is one of my favorites. I remember seeing this in 1997 (can you believe that was eight years ago?), not once, twice, but FIVE times. This movie was so incredible. I went with my uncle (before he went to jail), and was only expecting some fun entertainment. This was just when it came out, before it truly became a phenomenom. We got lots of candy and soda, but after about a half hour, I didn't touch either, as I was so totally mesmerized with the amazing movie. Now, I'm a person with a very weak bladder. Sitting throuh even the shortest movies is hard for me, usually I have to pee about three times. However, with Titanic, a three hour movie, I didn't pee once. I could not even THINK about leaving the theater, I was SO into this movie. At the end, I cried like a baby, and if I thought about the movie, I'd start to cry again. I saw the movie over and over again, and bought it the first day it came to video. It never gets old. It's beautiful, tragic, touching, stunning, technically flawless, and thrilling. It's one of those rare movie where, once it's over, you have to get back to reality, as you feel as if you've been on the Titanic with the characters. If you haven't seen this movie, you totally missed out on 1998 and I tell you, you must watch it now! 5/5 10/10
