Movie Review: Don't act surprised...
Summary: 4 Stars
It's a good movie, you have action, romance and a twist of science fiction. All of these are just winner ingredients, in this particular case the picture has a favorable outcome and it serves it's primary purpose: entertain. Don't look forward to the probable appearance of a Big price, a BIG nomination, or somthing like that...expect FUN, and a GREAT time, thats all.
And YES my friends; dont act surprised if you dont get a classic movie like Gone With The Wind, after all you know what kind of movie you are going to see...after all it's a great picture, a Van Damme movie!
Movie Review: bought it used but its in excelent shape

I have always liked this movie so when I saw that the manufacture had discontinued it I thought that my only choice was to buy it used. The price was more than reasonable so I figured I wasn't out much if it wasn't in good shape. When I received it and watched it I was very pleasantly surprised that there was no skipping or any problems. I think I have always seen this movie on network TV, so I was surprised by a couple scenes with nudity. I looked away and pressed "FF" until it was over.Movie Review: Classic 90's action flick with a pretty decent plot.

I'm not going to bore you with a plot synopsis you can get off the back of a box. If you like Van Damme you'll like this movie. It's not filled with mindless action, and the plot is strong enough to carry the the film. It comes off slightly goofy, but only because of the 1990's take on what the future would be like.
If you are looking for some decent/classic Van Damme action check it out. For under $10 how disappointed could you really be?
Movie Review: Fun Film - Widescreen DVD from Japan

I recently picked up this film after not having seen it in years. It turned out to be as fun as I remembered; one of Van Damme's best. The DVD I bought is a budget priced release from Japan. The print looks nice and is presented in anamorphic widescreen!! If you're tired of waiting for Paramount to issue a widescreen version in the U.S./Canada, it might be worth your while to pick up a region free DVD player. Pretty decent flick, I actually give it 3.5 stars. A nice, quick sci-fi b-movie with some good action, decent f/x and some subpar acting(of course). Great villian in Ron Silver and Van Damme tries but the film could have been upped a notch with a better lead. Some lapses in logic but are forgivable due to the fact that no one knows what kind of results would be reaped when playing with time. All and all a fun adventure if looking for a quick flick.
