Movie Review: One of the Best, but least-known movies of all time !!!
Summary: 5 Stars
We have more movies than you can imagine, but we watch this movie probably every 2 months. And if this says anything for it, I'm an action and comedy kind of guy, and my wife is a chick-flick and foreign film person. We both love everything about this movie. This movie was very well done. All of the acting is well-performed. For being a drama/action movie, it has some great little twists of humor at times. I probably can't say enough about it that hasn't already been said in the good reviews already written here.Movie Review: The truth is out there.

Thunderheart is good. Good acting. Good action. Good story. Good Truth.In it self, Thunderheart is at any time a good and challenging movie with brilliant actors. Combined with its scenery and story, this film ought to be compulsory education for all americans.
John Trudell acting the part of the fugitive is a grand thorn in the eye of the FBI. He's probably their most wanted, most harassed and most untouchable Indian this century.

Thunderheart... what can I say.......anybody who enjoys a good movie, should see Thunderheart. This film has the ability to bring out all your emotions.... There is sadness that it is a known fact that the Indian Reservations were not all that they were supposed to be, and there was a lot of corruption. On the other hand, this is one of Graham Greenes best parts, that I have seen. The comical little sarcastic remarks that he comes up with, are hilarious... This movie is another I love so much I have watched many times. It is in modern times and based on a true incident that occured in our life time.The end has a big surprize. The whole story is based on a crime investigation by an FBI agent who was raised white but has a strong native heritage. The movie focuses on the crime investigation as well as the awakening spirituality of the Native Culture in Val Kilmer as the investigation progresses on the Reservation. Very good movie with some historical back ground. The movie does an ok job of showing how bad life on some Indian Reservations is, many people have never seen the 3rd world country we have in the USA on some Res's. The names of the groups in the movie have been changed to protect people, like ARM, is AIM "American Indian Movement". Gramm Green is perfect and very good as always. Val Kilmer is also very good and believable. The only way to make it better would be blue-ray!
