Movie Reviews of Three O'Clock HighMovie Review: Not so UN-realistic as it may seem Summary: 4 Stars
This movie captures the angst of getting caught between a rock and a hard place. Not only that, it throws all the comedy it can into the situation. I don't know why I haven't heard the name Casey Siemaszko before, as many of his scenes show the gears of a fine tuned thespian. I looked him up on the internet after watching this movie on HBO and saw that he's doing video game voice-overs now. What the hell? Someone pick this guy up and make a movie, he's that good.
You cannot escape the characters in this film. Some are flat, but they are this way for a purpose....who didn't try to seem single-purposed in high-school? The goth friend who wants to "bond", the nerd who thinks brains can conquer all, and the bully with a shy brain... this film is a book disguised as a cartoon. A+
Movie Review: Great 80's flick, but watch out for the language! Summary: 4 Stars
This movie was filmed at my high school, and a lot of my friends are in it as extras. I remember watching it back in the 1980's and thinking it was so great, which it is very funny. I hadn't seen it for years so I recently bought the dvd so that I could show it to my kids. We sat down to watch it as a family, and I was quickly reminded of the frequent foul language in it. I hadn't taken much notice of this as a teen, but now that I have kids myself I was a bit shocked and wishing that I had some way to edit this movie! It's a fun watch, as long as you are prepared for some strong words.
Movie Review: SCHOOL SuPPLIES . Summary: 4 Stars
THis movie is way to simple nothing out of the ordinary but the movie is funny. It takes place all on one day when an ordinary class nerd cross paths with the new school bully. I love this movie because I remember the schools supply window in Junior High , one sheet of paper for .25 cents, puts a weird twisted smile on my face.
Movie Review: A good movie... Summary: 4 Stars
Three o'clock High is an entertaining movie along the lines of "Fast Times". It is not as provocative, but still focuses on high school life and ups and downs of each day. It is a very good movie and will become a favorite of many when given the chance.
Movie Review: Teen classic Summary: 4 Stars
A classic tale every teen form the 80's should remember. Still current today in a few ways. A must see should be cult classic...
