people, what sort of world do we live in where a movie with a singing bush and invisible man, a new vocabulary word: plethera, and chevy chase dumping a canteen of water into the desert only gets 4 stars? i protest! this is comedy genius. if you want 4 stars, go watch a movie that spent a lot of money and turned out mediocre. this one spent very little and turned out great. and how many movies can you sit down and watch as a family these days with all the moral disintegration in our society?! 5 stars from me- we need more good, clean, funny movies like this one.Movie Review: The Transcendent Infamous Amigos

I saw this movie when it was first released with a friend and all our kids and today I was looking for dvd's for Christmas presents for my now grown kids and came upon this one. I started laughing just thinking about it. Not only is this probably one of the best comedy's ever made, you can watch it with your whole family without having to explain anything and just have a good time. I'm going to be with my family on Christmas and we're going to watch this together along with a "trivia" game following for fun.Movie Review: "My Little Buttercup Has the Sweetest Smiiiiiile. . ."

I saw this movie on televison a few years ago and went out right away to buy the DVD. It is one of the FUNNIEST movies I've ever seen! I was crying because I was laughing so hard.The "buttercup" scene is one of the funniest scenes in the movie, although there are so many others. This is a movie the whole family can sit down to watch and the adults will be grabbing their sides as well as the children. This is one of the best Steve Martin movies EVER! Please go get this and petition for Three Amigos 2!Movie Review: This film is a classic!

Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, and Martin Short. Enough said. But since this is a review, I must write a little more. Watch it. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll squeal like a pig. And when you're done, and the movie's over, you'll have had enough one-liners to keep you company for a week (longer if you have a good memory). This is the only eighties movie I still quote to this day. Amazing stuff. Enjoy the movie and eat well. And don't forget to say your prayers before you go to bed.Movie Review: An underrated classic

I admit I'm not entirely sure why this movie was never well-received by the critics, because it gives me great belly-laughs every time I watch it, and the acting is truly great. I say that because the stars walk that very fine line between funny and downright ridiculous and manage not to cross it. Plus, to see the great Mexican director Alfonso Arrau playing the hilarious part of the evil El Guapo is a great treat.
Overall, a very enjoyable movie.
