Movie Review: Thomas is NOT supposed to be scary!
Summary: 1 Stars
My husband and I have relied on Thomas the Train videos to be "safe" for toddlers. So we were astonished at this one. WHY did the writers think that making a spooky video would be beneficial to their young audience!?! Halfway through the third story we stopped it. Our 3 1/2 year old son said it was scary. Needless to say, this one ended up in the trash. Next time we will not assume that Thomas is harmless.

Thomas, Rusty, Toby, Duncan, Stepney, and Henry courageously face their fears to learn that many "ghosts" are just regular people (or trains) that appear frightening due to one's imagination. Annie, Clarabel, Lady Hatt, and Sir Topham Hatt teach viewers about the value of home and friendship in "Sir Topham Hatt's Holiday," and a music video, "Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining," stresses the importance of goals, learning from mistakes, and the power of a smile.
