Movie Reviews of The Waterboy

Movie Review: This movie ain't the devil, THAT'S for sure!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is one of Adam Sandler's best comedies. It had me in hysterics until the end credits. Kathy Bates sometimes steals the show as the mama who thinks that girls, football, and Benjamin Franklin are the DEVIL. Fairuza Balk plays her part well as the young woman who falls in love with Sandler. Henry Winkler may be past his prime, but he is still capable at giving a great performance like this one in particular. A typical cameo by Rob Schneider adds a nice touch to this movie. If you can sit through a comedy without looking for social or political commentary, then this is for you.

Movie Review: A Good Laugh
Summary: 5 Stars

Here I am listening to Dave Matthews thinking that I am the regular Joe, when all of the sudden I read a review that said that this movie had nothing to offer to the "Average Joe"...needless to say I was offended...this movie, regardless of whether you like Sandler or not has laugh-out-loud moments. Even I as a movie skeptic find that impressive because I can not remember the last time I laughed out loud in a theatre (all right I can it was "Something about Mary").You, regardless of who you are and who you like, would do well to at least rent this movie.

Movie Review: Adam Sandler Is THE WATERBOY
Summary: 5 Stars

THE WATERBOY is a comedy starring Adam Sandler as a backwoods Cajun man who lives with his overbearing mother and has a day job serving water to the local football team at the local college. When he gets tired of all the football team members making fun of him, he let's his rage out and tackles whoever direspects him. When the football coach find's out about The Waterboy's special 'talent,' he offers The Waterboy a chance to play football...now sit back, get something to eat, get something to drink, and prepare to laugh yourself sick! Any Adam Sandler fan must see this!

Movie Review: I laughed so hard, i twisted my colon
Summary: 5 Stars

The Waterboy is the best thing to come to the movies since popcorn. If you like seeing people get tackled for an hour and a half, this movie is for you. In my opinion, there's nothing funnier than watching someone get hurt and this movie delivers. Adam Sandler tackles everyone but his mother in this flick and it's great to watch. When I saw him tackle his professor in college, I laughed so hard I twisted my colon and the theatre had to call the paramedics. This movie is therefore not recommended for people with similar health problems(twisty colons).

Movie Review: If you enjoy silly humor then check out Waterboy
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought Waterboy on DVD having not seen the movie. Going on the simple faith that I have enjoyed other Sandler films such as Bily Madison, Happy Gilmore, and the Weding Singer. From the begining of the film to the end I was laughing. Not only was Sandler funny, but the rest of the cast from Henry Winkler a.k.a. The Fonz, to Farmer Fran, that guy was the best, the supporting cast was great and so was the film. I have to say it was a high quality movie. So pop some popcorn and pour yourself a glass of high quality H2o and enjoy Waterboy!!!
