Movie Review: Watch it for the Fonz and Kathy Bates performances
Summary: 5 Stars
This movie reminded me of a spoof of 'Forrest Gump'. I have no idea if it was intended that or not. I choose to look at it that way because that is the only way that this could ever possibly be funny. However, the real jokes are that Tom Hanks took the same material and impressed critics and audiences with his acting skills while Adam Sandler just amused a few people who watched this film. The other joke in the film is Adam Sandler's voice. He kept changing it. First, he had a mild southern accent, then he just began talking slower and faking a stutter. Regardless, I got a slight chuckle from the idea of him trying to fake a voice to sound stupid. His real voice would have fit all too perfectly.Movie Review: Funny Funny Funny

This is an oddball comedy that is very unique and funny. Kathy Bates is hilarious as his mother and it was good to see Henry Winkler doing a comedy again too. Overall a hilarious comedy, but I was a bit irritated that they gratuitously stuck an f-bomb in one scene. Im no prude, but it was out of place, didn't make the scene or movie any better and I believe was only done to make sure the movie got a more mature rating thereby causing more teens to want to see it when released in theatres. I see a lot of that movies though unfortunately. Without that one scene its actually not a bad movie to watch with your kids as long as they are teens or near teens.Movie Review: Funny, foolish and frankily freaky!!!

This movie was great on the big screen! Adam Sandler played young teenager who still lives with his over protective Momma (Kathy Bates : Primary Colours, Titanic). Anyway, Momma won't let him back to school because she does not like girls and think sport sucks. "Girls are devils" she says. Well, our Adam can and will go back to school to learn more, stick up for himself and erm... become a football palyer. Yip, in this movie our Adam is shown as a fabulous football player with the bone-breaking tackle! And of course, we can't forget his job as a waterboy. Water is his best job, even better than football. Very enjoyable and recommenable.Movie Review: Adam Sandler Rocks!!!!

Adam Sandler is decent in his latest film. This one is about a poor guy who's been isolated from the world by his mama. The only thing he ever does is be a waterboy. He uses one of his "voices" and those that did not appreciate Billy Madison may not like it, but I personally love Adam Sandler and all his stuff is great!!! You should check out: Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer (very subdued Sandler), also by Sandler are : Airhead, Going Overboard, and Bulletproof. Check him out!! If this is your first time seeing sandler, check out Wedding Singer and Happy Gilmore first. They are the BEST!!Movie Review: Adam Sandler great as usual.

I love Adam Sandler and the Waterboy was a good movie. It had funny parts and was overall, quite enjoyable. However, if you don't like Sandler, this is not the movie to watch. His most toned down movie was the Wedding Singer which I would recommend to people seeing him for the first or second time. Also, Happy Gilmore was great, to my opinion. I thought almost everyone did a great job in the Waterboy and would suggest buying it. If anyone goes to see and Adam Sandler movie and doesn't go for laughs, they have no business being there. Adam is all laughs and I hope he keeps doing what he does best.
