Movie Review: A GOOD TIME & A WILD RIDE!

If you're not addicted to WESTERNS, watch out! This WESTERN flick will capture your emotions! Taw Jackson (John Wayne) returns to town where he was run out by the bully cattle baron Frank Pierce (Bruce Cabot)and ends up facing off with Lomax (Kirk Douglas)in this fast moving WESTERN; add to that, beautiful Mexican women, voluptuous, and the Asian beautys, all enticing. The WAR WAGON is a movie of epic proportions, a breath-taking journey through some of the most stunningly beautiful land on earth! Tense moments, fierce shoot-outs, tantalizing women, awesome scenery, wild Indians, gold gold gold, and in the end, what goes around, finally comes around, once again!!

Movie Review: Much better than the VHS tape version.

You must see the DVD version to truely appreciate the beauty and splendor of the land where this was filmed. In many cases it upstaged the Duke, which is hard to do. I can't count how many times I have seen this movie in other formats. But, after viewing it on my Big Screen from DVD, I feel I have just seen all of it for the first time. My only complaint about the quality would be the projector weave in the opening reel. Otherwise, the picture is spectacular!Movie Review: The Duke, American hero extraordinaire

I have looked all over for this movie and finally thought to search Amazon.com for it. Well, well, look what I found. I am glad you guys have all these different vendors under your umbrella, it makes finding things so much easier and more probable. Being a "died-in-wool" John Wayne fan, it wasn't hard for me to enjoy the, non-stop, old west, "shoot'em up" action of this classic. To have Kirk Douglas with John Wayne is just icing on the cake.
