Movie Review: An epic saga!

The Vikings invasion of England is the dramatic nucleus of this non parallel movie till that date. Narrated masterly by Orson Welles, produced by Kirk Douglas, filmed in the ice capes of Fjords of Norway, the splendid photography of Jack Cardiff, the impressive cast, the superb battle sequences, and above and beyond the epic environment, the unconscious links between the Vikings and the original spirit Greek in fight and the ravishing ending sequence, makes of this film not only a magnificent feast for your eyes but besides a genuine cult movie to delight it over and over as I do. Don't miss it!

...and that is a crying shame. This movie has everything that made the old movies great. Real true movie stars with "star power": Kirk Douglas (who had muscles before they were invented!), Tony Curtis, Janet Leigh, and Ernest Borgnine. It has action, it has romance, it has comedy, it has axe throwing, it has women with pointy bras. As both an artifact of the era in which it was produced, and as pure entertainment this movie is as close to perfect as anything I've ever seen. Buy it. I have always been a fan of old movies and yes sometimes cheesy movies. This is a great movie on the other hand. I seen it once as a little girl in my theater class at my profomance arts high school and been missing it ever since. I came across it again like 3 months ago and just had to have it. It was so easy and cheap. I got the movie a few days later and it was like new. The movie itself has a great storyline easy to follow with alot of work on details and secenary. it's a must have fro any movies collection.Movie Review: INCREDIBLE

My mom bought this film for me even though I did not want to see it and I was blown away! Absolutely incredible! The picture quality has to be seen to be believed. The sound too. The location shootings are out of our world and back in time. The movie is acurate as can be! The music score is in terms of style right out of Wagner's "Die Walkure." Incredible. Very few movies have made me laugh giddy and this is one of them. Highly reccomended. Enjoy. ...every time I see it, I'm afraid Janet Leigh's bra is gonna pluck out Kirk Douglas' other eye! Either that or she's gonna fall for Einar after all, having seen Tony Curtis in those faggy hot pants!
And yes, UPA's animated Bayeux tapestry credits are completely out of timeframe -so what? THEY'RE GREAT!
