He s been called The Great Dane and The Clown Prince of Denmark but most know him simply as Victor Borge whose seamless blending of clever comedy and classical compositions led to colossal success on records radio television and sold-out concert tours for more than 75 years. In 1951 Victor Borge was given his own weekly television show cleverly titled The Victor Borge Show - which was broadcast live on NBC but lasted less than six months. Here is a symphonic smorgas-Borge of 14 ultra-rare episodes that capture Victor at his funniest sometimes alongside a pre-Honeymooners Art Carney! These are not the later concert appearances which have been released on tape and disc.
