Movie Review: Great family movie
Summary: 5 Stars
I first saw this movie as a child back in the mid-80's on The Disney Channel. My family had a much-loved Dachshund at that time and we were always interested in anything that had to do with Dachshunds. My sister and I both loved this movie. We taped it off TV and just about wore that tape out from watching the movie so often over the years.
The story line is cute, the characters are funny, and of course, the Dachshunds are typical Dachshunds. It's appropriate for the younger viewers, yet not too simple for adults to enjoy. This movie is for everyone and anyone, especially those who are owned by Dachshunds.
Movie Review: Excellent movie for the whole family

You won't be disappointed with this movie. All of our kids love it. The dogs are cute, the storyline keeps moving and is interesting as well as funny. The kids especially love it when the dogs cause havoc (I don't want to give anything away). The only part that was a little objectionable is the bickering between the husband and wife at times -- especially when the husband yells at his wife to "shut up." But at least she doesn't let him get away with it and scolds him for talking like that.
Overall, a very safe movie for kids to watch -- and you'll all enjoy it!
Movie Review: Low Five,Fun Disney Classic

This movie gets a low five stars because there are times that it drags and you can see that it is an older movie with out the constant action. Despite this, it is a rolling good time with a funny dog, a helpless couple and some hilarious situations.
My children, ages 10, 8 and 6 have enjoyed watching this movie over and over again.
This is a Disney classic with good clean fun. There are no swear words or risky situations that you might have to explain to your children later.
Enjoy. Well worth the money.
Movie Review: Don't count out this oldie but goodie

I am a grad student in Texas who is tickled pink that this finally came out on DVD. When I was younger this and "The Happiest Millionaire" were two of my favorite movies. It is clean wholesome humor that can entertain the whole family. There are other reviewers that have sung the praises of the doxies, it made me a great dane fan forever, Brutus rocks.
This film is a great investment for anyone, especially for those with kids and/or dogs!!!
Movie Review: A simple yet wonderful silly movie

I first saw this movie when I was very young, perhaps 34 years ago, and I loved it. The Disney magic hasn't left me or my thoughts about this movie. Keep the right frame of mind (it is a simple movie) and sit back, relax and enjoy this movie with your kids or the kid inside of you.
Note that if you have Dachsunds as my family does, you will be somewhat disapointed in their acting in this film, at least their verbal acting. I have never heard a Dachshund bark sound like it does on this movie.
