Movie Review: RenFaire Ridiculous!

This series is fun IF you forget it's supposed to be about Henry VIII and his court. (I can't believe one reviewer called this series "90% accurate"!) It's more like a historical fantasy only without magic. The costuming is so Not Tudor -- it's RenFaire Retro. Others have mentioned some of the more egregious errors, so I'll just list my favorites of what I've dubbed "Tudor Moments" here (spoiler alert): Everyone riding in carriages -- carriages with large glass windows. Cardinal Wolsey committing suicide -- and by slitting his own throat, yet! No one ages a day although apparently years have gone by. My absolute favorite: the portrait of Richard III hanging on the wall in one of Henry's rooms!! That alone makes it worth 3 stars!
