Movie Review: So many memories
Summary: 5 Stars
Looking forward to owning this one. I grew up in the town where the castle scenes and lake scenes where filmed. The castle and loch are still there. As kids we used to go and feed the ducks at Linden Loch. In High School I gave tours at the castle. It is located outside of Philadelphia if anyone cares to see it. You can't visit it now but you can see it from the road. So neat to see this on DVD.

THE FILM HAS ITS SILLY MOMENTS,BUT STILL VERY ENJOYABLE FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY. HAYLEY MILLS PROVES HERSELF AGAIN TO BE A GREAT ACTRESS AND ROSALIND RUSSELL GIVES QUITE A FEW LAUGHS WITH HER SMART ALECK REMARKS AS THE MOTHER SUPERIOR;HER SCENE DEALING WITH THE DEATH OF ONE OF HER FELLOW NUNS IS MOVING AND POIGNANT.CANNOT SEE HOW ANYONE COULD NOT BE ABLE TO FIND SOMETHING ENJOYABLE IN THIS CLASSIC 60'S FILM.Movie Review: The Trouble With Angels

This is a funny, heart-warming movie of life in a Catholic boarding school. It is based on Jane Trahey's experiences as related in her book, LIFE WITH MOTHER SUPERIOR. The sisters in the book are portrayed as positive role models - wise, capable and loving. The students themselves come to appreciate the sisters' dedication and sacrifice as the story progresses. And it has some subtle, good messages of friendship and helping others out of a bind as well as the need to show and express gratitude. In the end, the girls made peace with the nuns and their schoolmates at the end of their semester. Hayley Mills and June Harding also stars in this classic family film.
