Movie Review: Pure Fun...A Great Buddy Film

Don't look at this wonderfully humorous movie as being unfaithful to the Dumas story, look at it as an entertaining and different version. Oliver Platt is hilarious, and the banter between the four musketeers is wonderful. It's like boys' night out with swords. Most books I like have been poorly transferred to film...this one has only been differently presented. There are several versions of this story available on film. I like all of them except the newest, Crouching Ninja Musketeer, but this Disney version is my favorite.Movie Review: A really fun movie

This is a really great family movie. even though some of the scenes in it may be a little more for adults then children, it is still wonderful. Who cares if it isn't like the book. The non stop action, and great acting will keep your family entertained. This was made during a time where Disney actually started making decent live action movies(the early nineties), unlike some of the really bad ones they make today. and of course porthos is really funny, and I also loved the never ending 'extras' he always carried around.Movie Review: All for fun and fun for all!

The Three Musketeers is the greatest swashbuckling tale ever told, and there is no movie version better than this. It's funny, it's well done, and most of all, it's action-packed! The swashbuckling action starts from the very start of the movie and doesn't let up! The story is about 'three loyal swordsmen' and their young recruit and their quest to stop the evil Cardinal who wants to kill the King. You may search high and low, but you'll never find a greater action/adventure than this one!Movie Review: fun for all

I bought the DVD hoping it would be good but not really sure it could top the two movies about the musketeers made in the 70's. I was very pleased to find it is very enjoyable and look forward to watching it again and again. It is a delightful blend of humor, history and action with likeable characters and great music. The bonus of the song performed by Rod Stewart and Sting found in the DVD extras was unexpected and really great they sing beautifully together.Movie Review: Awesome

O.k. so it doesn't exactly refer to the book, but if you think about it most movies/DVD don't follow the storyline correctly. Be that as it may the acting was great, the plot was good, and the scenery was excellent. Yes, it was Disney and they have a way about not telling the whole truth, but it's funny, action-packed, and most of all, the kids and the family enjoyed it. It was a well made movie and it was definetly one I added to my collection.
