It was great to see this film again after so many years. I first saw it in the theatre when I was a young girl and it made a lasting impression on me. This is one of Disney's classic live action films and time has been kind to it. Although several times through out the movie I realized that a movie like this one could not be made now a days because of the animal abuse issues, I think that the movie got across the point of kindness to your animal friends. This is a wonderful family movie. Its amazing to take a trip back in time when God and prayer was still accepted by the mainstream and it was OK to make a non-religious movie with God in it. This will definately be a part of our movie library for many years to come.
