I'm sorry, but remaking a classic movie is the dumbest idea to hit hollywood lately. Didn't the remake of Psycho make anyone sit up and take notice at what a bad idea this is?You know, it's a rather sad time for movies these days. Every movie is either a direct ripoff, a sequel, a re-release, or a remake. Are there ANY original people out there these days? Or do we need to continue watching movies we've already seen in one form or another?
I can see remaking a movie that simply wasn't that good, but why remake a movie like this which is a classic? Oh I know...MONEY.
Since there isn't any way to truly make the original better, I see no point in this other than to make money.
Better get ready for an Exorcist and Halloween remake too I guess *sigh*
