Movie Reviews of The SundownersMovie Review: The Sheep Movie Summary: 5 Stars
I just watched this movie and have to say it is really worth watching. All the actors are great - even when they try to speak with an australian accent - like Deborah Kerr. The movie is beautifully photographed in stunning color. And the rest does the good script. The DVD offers a nice 16:9 widescreen-transfer. A short documentary shot in black and white and the original trailer.
My advice: If you like good movies buy this!
Movie Review: Great film Summary: 5 Stars
This is a wonderful film from top to bottom. Perfect cast and compelling story without anything getting blown up or cheating on their spouse.
This is a story of a family of movers in Australia and their lives as they move from job to job. They have some small adventures and ups and downs but its just a nice story about people who care about each other
Movie Review: NOSTALGIC STROLL OF A FAVORITE MOVIE Summary: 5 Stars
I BOUGHT THIS FROM AMAZON BECAUSE I LIKED IT YEARS AGO AND IT WAS AS WONDERFUL AS I REMEMBERED. EXCEPT, THERE WAS THE OBLIGATORY FIGHT AMONG SCRUFFY MEN BASHING EACH OTHER'S BRAINS OUT THEN WHEN IT WAS OVER THEY WERE BEST BUDS WITH ARMS DRAPPED AROUND EACH OTHER'S SHOULDERS. ALL FORGIVEN. BUT I STILL RANK THIS MOVIE HIGH ON MY FAVORITES LIST.
Movie Review: Heartwarming Summary: 5 Stars
Wow such a young Robert Mitchum! He really was a great actor too along with many others! This story was so nice to watch as this family struggled through life. What a great example of family life of long ago! Worth having in my collection and to view over and over again! I liked this movie very much!
Movie Review: Golden Oldie from Oz Summary: 5 Stars
Good script. good actors / actresses. Fabulous scenery.
A real Ausie gem. The comparison of Deborah Kerr in this and then The King & I, is quite the opposite. Robert Mitchum & Glynis Johns add to this exceptional movie.
