Movie Review: The Sting...still the best movie after all these years!

It was great to rewatch this movie this weekend. I haven't seen it in a long time. As one reviewer said everyone should see this movie once in their lifetime. Robert Redford,and the late Paul Newman and Robert Shaw delivered in their roles. No wonder this movie deserved the Academy Awards. A very entertaining story from start to finish. Worth watching it again and again!Movie Review: A must see movie!

Excellent film, I highly recommend it. That said, there is no true "widescreen" version of this movie. I had someone who owns a widescreen copy send me a screen cap and I compared it to the fullscreen version I have... there is about a total of 1/3 missing from top and bottom. Those waiting for a re-release... the FULLSCREEN is the closest to the ORIGINAL format.

If you're thinking about buying one movie only - this is the one! A journey trough the world of small&big cons in the mid 30's with an atmosphere you'll get sucked up by. Not a thrilling movie but a tastefull one in the best of ways. The actors are great, straight through. The pokerscene is simply the best of scenes!
