This DVD is a great introduction to the "choro" style of music. This is the ancestor of bossa, and also blends nicely with samba. Choro is the urban musical style of Rio. Features excellent artists such as Yamandu Costa, Trio Madeira Brazil, Paulo Moura, Guinga, Ze da Velha & Silverio Pontes, Joel Nascimento, Jorginho do Pandeiro, Marcos Suzano, and singers such as Teresa Cristina & Pedro Miranda, Elza Soares, Adamilde Fonseca, Zeze Gonzaga, and others.
