Movie Review: Song Of Bernadette Is Finally On DVD

About 3 Months ago I bought this DVD. I have watched it about 5 times and every time I watch it it brings tears to my eyes. I really love the specail features on this DVD.Here is a brief Description:
Bernadette (Jennifer Jones) is a poor orphan who's main goal is to meet Christ. It is really amazing at the trajedies, and the sacrifices she makes to be able to see jesus.

This is a remarkable classic, a film based on a true story of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to a young humble, physically sick peasant girl, living in total poverty, in the town of Lourdes in France. Parts of the film are not too accurate, but it is an inspirational film nevertheless.
Good picture and sound quality. Amazing cast and great acting. I am blessed to have it!

I have always loved this movie. Each of the actors brings the real character to life by portraying them true to life. It is one of the movies I can watch repeatedly without boredom. The music definitely adds to the emotion of the whole picture. Linda Darnell, although not listed among the cast, does a sensitive and beautiful job of portraying the Virgin Mary.
