Movie Reviews of The Shadow

Movie Review: ACTION
Summary: 5 Stars

I have to say Allec Baldwin did a fantasic job in this movie. I love it If you like suspense and action this is the movie to buy you wont regret it. It has alot of interesting characters by the way Alec plays the role of the grim reaper alec has a very interesting power that will keep you with your eyes wide open. You won't want to pause your dvd. Girls buy this for your husband he will be happy. This is a guy movie but, women will enjoy this just as much I give it 2 thumbs up

Movie Review: Great Movie with a Not-So-Great Transfer
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie is amazing. Alec Baldwin is perfect for the role of The Shadow. This film should have at least gotten a sequel. Oh well, at least it had a complete ending, unlike The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. There are two things about this DVD that I hate. 1: There are no special features. 2: This is a Pan-and-Scan transfer, which makes me feel like I'm watching a TV movie. If you think there should be a DVD of this film with a WIDESCREEN TRANSFER and SPECIAL FEATURES.

Movie Review: A great movie
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie will go down as one of the great adventure movies of all time. The actors are all exceptional who have a great script to follow. The rivalry between Alec Baldwin and John Lone is terrific. Peter Boyle has a small but effective role as a taxi driver. And Penelope Ann Miller is about as lovely as she can be. Wonderful movie!

Movie Review: Death by Art Deco
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie is so gorgeous I could just EAT IT ALIVE. The plot could have been better, but the chemistry between Lamont and Margo is excellent, with dry wit and depth of character.

The music is great. The visuals... are beyond description.

I could watch it over and over and over again-- and I do.

Movie Review: Shadow way over due for Blu-ray
Summary: 5 Stars

The time has come for Universal to put this out in the Blu-ray format. I would by this first day. This movie never got its due when it came out in 1994 in a crowded summer and made its money back and then some. Hope to see universal do it right and come out with a great transfer and a 5.1 master audio soundtrack
