Movie Review: Delicious for its gender content
Summary: 4 Stars

I liked this movie because it explores:
1) that women can by physically and psychologically strong
2) that women can face challenges such as whether to possibly mistakenly kill a threatening person
3) that men can be strong around women who are strong
4) that the human spirit is resilient and can overcome extreme challenges

Plus the nature is great, the acting is excellent and the journey is interesting.

This movie is a tense thriller about a vacationing family on a whitewater rafting trip in the Montana wilderness that turns tragic. Filmed in the Kootenai National Forest in NW Montana and the Siskiyou National Forest in SW Oregon, with stunning telephoto shots of the whitewater action and beautiful river canyon photography makes this film journey worth taking.

I'll start by saying Meryl Streep can do no wrong. Kevin Bacon is the difinitive bad guy. Edge of your seat excitemnt running the rapids, and the cinematography is awesome. This is one film that should be released in blueray format.
