Movie Review: Very thoughtful movie

Bill Murray took a lot of abuse for this movie but I just love it. It is a movie of self discovery and the determination of those things worthy of investing your life into. This is a thoughtful movie which leaves one thinking about life and what it means to "be good and live with Purpose". Bill Murray is great in the title role(I was apprehensive that he could not play the part well). Very moving, to the last lines. W. Somerset Maugham may not be Homer, or even Hemingway, but he is a very interesting author.
I do believe that this movie/book is auto-biographical.
