Movie Review: Director Sam Raimi Does A Wonderful Job
Summary: 5 Stars
In a western town, a female gun-slinger appears with a chip on her shoulder and vengance in her heart. She enters a quick draw contest and quickly climbs toward the finals. Excellent acting by Sharon Stone, Gene Hackman, and Russell Crowe. Sam Raimi fills this movie with amazingly interesting and effective shots, keeping you at the edge of your seat. Would definately watch over and over again.Movie Review: DVD version is definitely worth owning.

This new DVD release of "The Quick and the Dead" is a good one. It features a really fine Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound track, and the picture is very sharp with great colors. It is a 2-sided DVD, so you can choose either the wide-screen or the full-screen version. I think this is one of the finest western action comedies, done in impeccable style.Movie Review: Awesome movie! ! !

This is only one of a handful of movies I have watch multiple times, however, this is the first time I have seen any version other than the "TV" version. The DVD version was much more intense, more detailed, more exciting - - - Only regret is that I had not ordered it much earlier. I have watch this movie at less 10 times. The actors are very good and Stone is at her best. It too bad she doesn,t make more movies I have been going to movies for 50 years and I think she is one person I would rather watch than anyone else. She does a great job.
