Movie Review: WOOHOO!! BRING ON THE PAIN!!
Summary: 5 Stars
Though this movie was relatively tame for someone who just had his entire family murdered, it was still great. I would defenitaly recommend this movie for anyone who has just lost a loved one. Or people with little kids, "Son, if we ever get murdered by a family of corrupt people... I expect something along these lines to happen!!" Anyways... enough goofing off.
This movie was excellent. The acting is fine enough for the purpose of the movie(though I do think Marvel is over-using that Rebecca Romane Stamos, or however ya spell it, chick) However the Punisher himself... very convincing! No plot descriptions... cause there has to be 60 or 70 by now above me... but I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes perfectly coreographed violence! WOOHOO!! BRING ON THE PAIN!!
Movie Review: The Punisher make his great return to the big screen!

If you are a Punisher fan or just a fan of real actions films then this is the flick for you. Not a million and one "special effects" just is a throw back to the films if the past, what I mean is that there is not all the VISUAL EFFECTS used to carry a film that there are in every other movie today. The story is a great one, classive REVENGE...wait, no.. PUNISMENT! Tom Jane was a PERFECT choice for Frank Caslte ( the Punisher) along with John Travolta, Rebecca Romeign-Stamos and Roy Scnieder it is NOT a small budget film by any means. BIG TIME explosions, Car chases and crashes and man o man are there guns! Awesome Soundtrack and there are even some touching moments. Rumors of a sequel are rising ( I hope so). Trust me, AWESOME film, get it! And remember.. its not revenge...its punishment!Movie Review: Refreshingly action packed.

I was blown away by this movie. Not since the Spaghetti westerns of Sergio Leoni have I seen a movie of such pure woop-ass. Too many action movies these days detract from their main purpose with sappy love stories, but not this one. The Punisher is as focused and as intense as Clint Eastwood's Man With No Name, and darker than Michael Keaton's portrayal of Batman. I recommend The Punisher to anyone who likes action, comic book, or even mob movies because Travolta's mafia character falls according to the gospel of mob films set down in Al Pacino's Scarface (A mob movie buff would know what I'm referring to). I will say no more, except that this movie was done wrong when it was choked out of theaters by The Passion of Christ, and Hellboy has nothing on The Punisher.Movie Review: I WANT A SEQUEL

this movie rocked,unlike fantastic 4,hulk & electra it had a good cast and not a cheesy part atall.thomas jane is brilliant as castlt,hes likeable,believable and scary when he turns to the dark side.
travolta as howard saint is top notch and he plays his charactor down alot unlike castor troy in face off.
the best scenes in this movie are the the massacre scene,russian ight scene & the 40 car explosion.come on hensleigh give us fans the punisher 2.
Movie Review: A good adaption of the comic!!

I'm a big fan of The Punisher comic, so I will be the first to admit I am bias. But when I left the theatre, I was overall very pleased, as a Punisher and movie buff.
I thought Tom Jane portrayed The Punisher very similar to the comic, although he is small compared to the comic book Punisher. He made me feel sympathetic to his character,and I was very satisfied with his performance. Travolta was good, although some of the dialogue did make me groan. The supporting actors were also fine.
Overall, action scenes were staged well, and the music fit the tone of the movie.
If you are looking for a good movie with fine performances and action sequences, you can't go wrong with The Punisher.
