Tom Savini's star shines and he goes all out and makes the entire movie something to watch and twitch with gruesome delight.As already stated by many other reviewers the actors are not the stars here.They are used like props for the kill scenes that you could give a damn about.The kill scenes are in a nut shell"SPECTACULAR & BRUTAL".It's almost as if the dialouge was written as the scenes for the kills were being filmed and that's just fine with me,cuz they are a sight to behold.Beautiful and in the hightest class are the effects of Mr. Savini.A must own if you like his work.Movie Review: Like A Bayonet Through The Brain...

A soldier receives a "Dear John" letter during WWII, resulting in a murder-by-pitchfork at a dance. Thirty five years later, a new series of gooshy killings begins. THE PROWLER (aka: ROSEMARY'S KILLER) is right up there w/ FRIDAY THE 13TH, MY BLOODY VALENTINE, and other luminaries of the late 70s / early 80s slash 'em ups. I love the killer's military garb, complete w/ camouflage mask! If throat-slashings and / or impalements make you feel giddy, then THE PROWLER should uplift your spirit...Movie Review: I LOVED IT!!!

I bought this movie on DVD, and I am really glad I DID!! Very graphic killing scenes!!! Good story and scrip.. If u love firday13th and Halloween. Buy or rent this DVD, U WOULD NOT DISAPPOINTED FOR SURE!!, Only odd about this movie, when the killer try kill someone, they used a lots damn fake blood in it..Was looks like,He ripped a big ass bag of COOL-AID lol ..BUT,is scary ,gory ,and great good old fashion 80s slashes movie. let me just say i love 80's slasher's. and this is one of the better ones hands down. they actually give you a cool little backstory here. and tom savini is at his best in this one. the shower scene was cool. i don't understand some of the bad reviews on this movie. there were a lot of these movies from the 80's that were really bad. and this is one of the best. also try slumber party massacre(the first one),my bloody valentine.Movie Review: a fun and bloody slasher movie!

another good 80's slasher movie very violent and gory (SPOILER ALERT) but not very much plot to it maybe the other reviews know what the killers motive was, decent kills, good stalking parts from where the killer appears in the movie. A weird and creepy ending not much of a twist on to where the killers identity is revealed, but a very good slasher. Check it out if you can handle alot of blood.
