Movie Review: I'M YOUR NIGHT...NIGHT PROWLER I SLEEP IN THE DAY,I'M YOUR NIGHT ...NIGHT PROWLER BEST GET OUTTA THE WAY
Summary: 5 Stars
This is PROWLER! And I must say it is a SLICE above the WAY to many
slasher films that was pumped at us between 81-85! This has everything
a GOOD horror film should have. Better than usual formula
maniac movie about jilted WW II soldier who killed his former fiancee
and her new beau with a pitchfork(gotta love it!) during a college
graduation dance in the 40's. When the dance is held again after a 35
year hiatus, good ole Harry the soldier starts the gruesome killings
again. Great Tom Savini effects include a girl pitch forked in the
shower(all she wanted was soap! DAMN!)a guy getting a bayonet
through the skull(ashee boo-boo) and the SCANNER climatic head
exploding(kiss that Excederin Migraine away)the acting is good
(very rare in a slasher/horror) and Richard Einhorn composed
a very good score. A VERY GOOD HORROR FILM! CATCH THE PROWLER
BEFORE HE CATCHES.....YOU!
WE REPEAT NO ONE AND WE MEAN NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 55 SHALL
SEE THE PROWLER WITHOUT BEING ACCOMPANIED BY A SENIOR CITIZEN
