Movie Review: Epic scope and action compensate for improbable casting.
Summary: 4 Stars
Compelling story and great production values. So what if Grant and Sinatra are miscast. The story is both compelling and exciting. The final scenes of the peasants storming Avila are still emotionally powerful. I loved it when I saw it in the theatre as a child and I love watching the video today. A real guilty pleasure! How about a DVD version?
