Movie Review: The best story to watch with your family.
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the best story to watch with your family. We love the music and how Oblio and Arrow's adventure turns out. All of these son's have been featured in other movies (You've got Mail) and on TV.

Movie Review: Childhood Memories; A Great Teaching Tool.
Summary: 4 Stars

I recall watching this as a kid, and when I decided to look for it, I was disappointed to learn that Nilsson has been replaced by Ringo Starr as the narrator. It's Nilsson's music, and Nilsson's story. The music from this little show has always been enchanting, and helps to make the message of Oblio and Arrow come across in a way that reaches across the ages. This is a great way of teaching kids (and adults) that being different is okay. It also shows what true friendship is all about. It's disappointing that this is not close-captioned, and this will limit it's ability to reach out to all audiences. Alot of times, if a kid can read along as the story unfolds, they will get much more out of the lesson. I hope that eventually the makers of this dvd will re-make this dvd and include the captions.

The Point is a classic of cartooning and good feeling. It continues to captivate the viewer and the music and narration is outstanding. I think all ages will enjoy it. I am always surprised that people don't know about this great story. Add it to your collection and watch it often.
