Movie Review: Pistol Pete: Birth of a Legend
Summary: 4 Stars
Pistol Pete was a spectacular movie. I liked this movie because it was based on an individual's true story. This movie was very inspirational and could teach kids everywhere to go for something that they think is not possible to reach for. Pete Maravich was one of the best role models that a kid could look up to. Hey, the kid started a varsity team when he wasn't even in high school!People call Pete "The Pistol" because he has very quick movements in his game and is very talented in his sport.
I recommend this movie to everyone, young and old.

Pete Maravich is an 8th grader who loves basketball. Pete thinks he is better than varsity team. Pete skips class to shoot hoops and got caught by the varsity coach. Pete gets in trouble but the coach asks him to play on the varsity team. Pete's dad shows him how to use gun slinging hands and tells him if he is fast enough that he could do anything.The varsity game showed up and Pete sits on the bench through the whole game. Pete thinksthe coach won't let him play in the game.

Pete Maravich is a 8th grader. He loves playing basketball. He dreams to become a famous basketball player. His father gave him confidence to become the greatest basketball player ever. The coach from his school's basketball team asked him to try out for the varsity team. He sits on the bench for a few games. He wanted to get a chance to play. He finally gets his chance to play and prove that he can really play.
I really liked the movie. Some parts of the movie made me laugh, but then some parts were upseting. I think that you should watch this movie.

Truly motivating and inspirational for not only children, but for parents as well. A "Classic" is what I call it with two thumbs up. Based on a true story of a legend, it doesn't get anymore realer than this (it's really real). Highly recommended to people of all ages. Believe the hype! Show it to your kids and maybe you can even learn something yourself. Ya Know! Oh Boy!
