Movie Review: Why?

Why? Why God?,why did Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber choose Gerard Butler to play THE phantom?, I mean, this is THE "The Phantom of the Opera" everybody will have watched and known; it's THE one which will replace the play and everyone who hasn't had the chance of watching the play will watch this one and...IT'S JUST SUCH A PITY...
Haven't got anything against him, but...Butler is the LEAST appropriate for the role!!! He's a TERRIBLE SINGER, and a WORSE ACTOR!!!
The filmmakers should have spent some more money getting someone with SOME EXPERIENCE singing and acting in Lloyd Webbers, like MICHAEL CRAWFORD or MICHAEL BALL...I would even take Antonio Banderas, but pleeeaaasssssssseeeee...
And the same goes with young, naive, little Emmy Rossum... She's not THAT bad, ok, but Sarah Brightman would have guaranteed both Best Actress and Best Music Academy Awards going straight into her and Andrew's hands...Besides, some say she's too old for the part, well, I've just GOT to disagree, I mean, she looks 25 to me...(people who say different are probably driven by her look in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Royal Albert Hall Celebration Concert, MORE THAN 4 YEARS AGO, "look at her now!!!", I say...)
