Movie Review: This is actually a fascinating film!
Summary: 5 Stars

Even kinda cute.

I'll not spoil it by telling the whole story so you needn't watch it. Suffice that movable planet (asteroid?) of tiny people capture full-sized earth spaceman, and he shrinks down to tiny.

Does he escape, become full size (however relative "full size" is) again?

Excellent print. And the colorized version is quite convincing.

In sum: not so bad as many will insist. Take it for what it is, as an unusual story with surprising twists.

Summary of The Phantom Planet

Travel into the future to March, 1980. Astronauts crash-land on an asteroid and are shrunk to a mere six inches tall! They are held captive by a race of miniature people who are under attack by a mysterious legion of aliens, led by Richard Kiel ("The Spy Who Loved Me's" Jaws). Meanwhile, a rescue ship from Earth is being organized to save the captured astronauts. Can they survive the ruthless alien onslaught. A fun sci-fi drive-in extravaganza, complete with hideous aliens, rocketships, spacemen and out-of-this-world excitement!
