Movie Review: I Loved It....
Summary: 5 Stars

I so loved it, this movie has a lesson to be learned, and it was taught very well. I'm a huge fan of Hilary Duff, and her sister, and i think this movie was the bomb, off the hook. :)

Summary: 5 Stars

Awesome movie. I loved it alot. It's very interesting and funny. Funny for the whole family. Buy it. It's definitely worth every penny.

Movie Review: slightly wacky, a little farcical, but entertaining
Summary: 4 Stars

This movie is escapist fare, a light little comedy suitable for summer dvd viewing for the entire family. The mistaken identities, using the present-day vehicles of email and IM, remind me just a little of the plots of renaissance era farces. The story is filled with trendy references that will please teens.

There are deeper themes; the chief one is, don't run away from problems and less than perfect situations. Single mother Jean Hamilton has been doing that for years, providing a life without permanence, her two daughters reluctantly towing behind her. 16 year old Holly turns the tables on her mom by insisting that they take flight from their latest perch in Brooklyn. Seeing Holly's reactions to romantic complications opens Jean's eyes to her own destructive patterns, and there is a happy ending for all.
