This movie was alright... really - alright. Morris Chestnut was yummy as ever and Gabrielle Union was cute as usual but not so mean in this movie (yay!). I thought it was nice to show her being a very involved and dedicated single mother of three kids and I liked the fact that she was intelligent and classy (as she always is). I wasn't quite sure why they forced Latifah and Terrence Howard in this movie. If you left the room at all, you could have easily missed their small parts throughout the movie. Faizon (sp) was kind of funny and Kat Williams was... Kat Williams. I'm not a fan of his so I have no comment about his role. I LOVE me some Charlie Murphy! He was crazy as ever! I gave it 4 stars because I "like" this movie. It's a cute holiday movie to watch with your family without being worried about anything obscene or profane. :)Movie Review: Christmas in 'Da Hood!!!

I thought this was a really good Christmas movie! It had a great storyline and very funny moments! Benjamin Armstrong is trying to go into the music business and wants J-Jizzy to hear his music. When he plays a mall Santa Claus, a little girl named Emily tells him that she wishes her mom named Nancy would be complimented by a man. Ben meets her and tells her that she's very attractive. Nancy obsesses over him until they finally have dinner together. Her oldest son hates Ben and wants his dad, who happens to be J-Jizzy back. If you love Christmas movies, and romance stories, you'll love THE PERFECT HOLIDAY!!!Movie Review: A Wholesome Romantic Christmas Comedy

At last...! There is a honest-to-goodness romantic comedy that you can take your kids to and still enjoy it as an adult. There is something for every family member. The screenplay is quasi-original...twisted in a unique melo-dramatic/comedy genre.
The music is sweet basil to the ears and warms the heart...should be sold as a soundtrack, but it's hard to find.
Don't listen to the amateur critics here...this film is a keeper for $15.00.
Movie Review: A decent Holiday movie

This movie is a pretty decent movie. It may not be a very good Christmas movie compared with those a few years ago. But, this movie is still to be at least acceptable. For the story, it is a very good Christmas love story, very typical that I can say. For the acting, they are good especially Queen Latifah. For the direction, they are all okay on that. For the visuals, very decent indeed. Overall, good movie.
