Movie Review: Incredible acting by Tim Daly

I have never before been moved to write a review, but "The Outsider" compelled me.
I found the movie quite by accident, and what a gem! I'd never even heard of Tim Daly, but his performance is truly remarkable. Marvelous acting and expression.
I'm baffled as to why Daly isn't a huge star.
An interesting film and Daly's marvelous performance. Great combination.

This movie is divine. I challenge everyone to buy it if you love westerns!It is historically correct in every way. I want hollywood or whoever to make more like it! I love Tim Daly and Naomi Watts. I have always loved the Carridine men. I grew up watching them and their father John Carridine. The characters were great and the stars were perfect for the parts! Enjoy the movie! I loved this movie. I have watched it approximately 10 or more times and it never gets old. Tim Daly and Naomi Watts were great in this film. I think I fell in love with Johnny Gault myself. Tim as Johnny Gault, gunfighter, fell in love with Naomi, a widow, who saved his life when he had been shot. The love they have for each other was very moving.Movie Review: Riveting performances...

The film is beautifully photographed and is accompanied by a lovely score. NOW this is movie that is worth watching - "Johnny" is a believeable man not all sappy and doing everything right - you can beleive this story and really enjoy watching the entire thing - there is action , just enough love to still keep the entire family tuned in yet not sending the men from the room. - this movie is worth every penny
