Movie Reviews of The Outsider

Movie Review: Romance at its best
Summary: 5 Stars

If you are in the mood for a good romantic film, this is for you. Tim Daly is probably one of the most underrated, versatile actors around. No surprise, though; he comes from an illustrious acting family. He is one of my favorite actors, and I wish he would make more films to show how talented and versatile he is. The rebel in me attracts me to this film, as the lead characters are both rebels. And I'm a sucker for happy endings, especially with a handsome, diamond-in-the-rough hero.

Movie Review: "I Loved This Movie"
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie was great!I have not been a big fan of Tim Daly but after buying this movie and reading the book, I thought that his interpation of Cain in the book and Johnny Gault in the movie was right on. His mannerisms and his close working relationship with Naomi Watts was mesmerizing to watch. What a warm and wonderful love scene that was carried out in such good taste. Tim looks better with the facial hair. I watch this movie over and over again. I recommend this movie for all.

Movie Review: What a western romance!
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie is so moving you feel everything the characters feel. I watched this movie three times when I first sawit.I taped it so I could skip past the commericals that are so distracting to the viewer. The story was so believeable and I loved the chemistry between Daily and Watts. They should team up again. I just really loved it so much I had to buy a new copy. If you like made for Hallmark movies you will love this movie.

Movie Review: My favorite movie, ever, bar none
Summary: 5 Stars

No actor could have done the excellent job that Tim Daly did in this movie. I have watched it probably 40 times and am still watching it. It isn't just one of those great movies that you fast forward thru to the good scenes; they are all great scenes. Just watching the expressions on his face keeps me enthralled. His character is the kind of man every woman dreams of but, sadly, never finds. Why don't they make more movies like this one?

Movie Review: Very satisfying
Summary: 5 Stars

Not much more I can say about this romantic western. I was certain the end would turn out differntly - glad it didn't. Anyone notice how much Naomi Watts looked like her best Aussie friend Nicole Kidman in some of the scenes? The resemblance is remarkable.

A side note: Naomi Watts did a boatload of B movies, Christmas movies, and Hallmark stories before she got her first break in David Lynchs' Mulholland Drive, also a must see.
