Movie Review: What a surprise!
Summary: 5 Stars
I had no idea what this movie was about before going to see it. When I realized it was about an LDS missionary, I was afraid it was going to be preachy and boring, but it was not! It was funny, romantic, and exciting. I thought the storm scene resembled scenes from "The Perfect Storm" which I considered impressive. I'm glad I saw this movie before knowing what it was about.Movie Review: Best Movie I ever saw

See when i went to see the movie for the first time i knew it would be good but i didnt know it would be great. It is about a mormon going on his mission to Tonga and it was so inspirating.I knew about missions because im a mormon too but enen if you know nothing about it it doesnt matter. It is an aweome movie

This was a wonderful movie taking place in Tonga in the 1950's. I enjoyed the wholesome values of the charactors, and learning about another culture and way of life. Very interesting story based factual events of the life of John Groberg. I highly recommend this movie. (It was nice to be able to bring my family to a movie without vulgarity, and explicit sex!)

This movie was the best movie I have seen in a very long time. It was funny, sad, exciting, and up lifting. I appreciated the fact that we could take our family and not be embarrassed by what was being said or done before our eyes on the big screen. It was very realistic and very believeable. The characters were good, but also very human. I loved it.Movie Review: Hard to Find but Well Worth it!

My entire family enjoyed the film, including my 73 year old mother. Simple, true story based upon simple moral principles. We need more of these films. I found it interesting that so many of the "so called" professional movie critics took issue with the movie. Michael Medved loved it and his views are always worthwile and valuable.
