Movie Review: The Order is a delightful sin eater.
Summary: 4 Stars
I like this movie alot. I was totally involved in the concept and it has a fine cast. I always saw more than good looks and a sexy voice in Heath Ledger and he hasn't steered me wrong. He's very versatile and I admire his choices. I love movies that invite the viewer to participate and also stir the pot sorta speak. Films that offer another perspective. I don't understand why critics dismissed this film ( especially since Brian Helgeland was doing something different ) but I'm sure glad I didn't. Its a good inventive thriller with story and performance that doesn't talk down to the viewer.Movie Review: A very dark and supernatural thriller.

I bought this DVD about seven months ago along with AMADEUS. I watched it with my dad alost three time I think it was. The thing is that we liked it very much. A great supernatural thriller with a great cast and performances. To be honest, by the theatrical trailer I've seen on the movies, I thought this was going to be very scary like THE SIXTH SENSE. But even though it didn't freak me out, I enjoyed it. There are very strange dialogues int the movie. There is very little action and horror, but very interesting overall. I suggest you rent it so you could watch a great thriller (not horror) movie.Movie Review: Pretty good movie

This was a movie that lived up to its summary on the back of the box (dispite what some will have you believe). I understand some may have lost interest in it, but only if you have a short attention span. It had its fast paced scenes and slow paced scenes and that was tied into a extreamly well written plot. I found it extremly entertaining and to anyone that like some goth or likes to view religion from different angles, this is a must have. I have seen different versions on this subject. However, the people in this movie become beautifully entangled with each other as the movie progresses and as the plot thickens. It is a suspenseful thriller within aesthetic surroundings that seem to pull you into the movie. However, I felt a couple things were put there just to visually scare you and for no other reason. A thought provoking and entertaining film with lots of imagery and some jump out of your seats moments. Not an action thrill ride but not slow moving either. Would certainly make people uncomfortable if they devoutly believed all church teachings. The story was well acted and Heath Ledger especially gave a mature and "old soul," feel to his approach.
