Movie Review: Warner Bros. has released a gorgeous DVD
Summary: 5 Stars
The 16x9 widescreen transfer of this Hammer classic is beautiful. The print is pristine and the colors are often eye-popping. The audio is clear--no hiss or pops. I was very surprised. I would love to have had a Christopher Lee commentary but for the price this is a steal. A big thanks to Warner Bros.--hopefully they'll soon release their other Hammer films.Movie Review: 50's Horror at its best

Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. How can you go wrong with that pair in a horror picture? Wide screen, color viewing of a 50's horror masterpiece. While the mummy wraps arnt as good as the Karloff monster its still a great film of the era. Any fan of vintage horror should find this entertaining. Very nice attempt at educating folks about egyptian history. Nice use of bronze skin coloring on most of the extras in the film showing egytpian rituals. Overall, this is a good story with great effects and acting. Cushing outdoes himself again.Movie Review: The Mummy 1959

This Mummy movie is one of the best made. Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee are brilliant and the story line flows along the lines of the earlier mummy movies.A must for lovers of mummy movies.
