Movie Reviews of The Mosquito CoastMovie Review: An oldy, but worth watching Summary: 5 Stars
This is an oldy, but worth watching. Harrison Ford is an intelligent family man who wants to get away from civilization and into the jungle. He dreams of showing ice to natives who have never seen it before and invents a machine to make it. Though angry at a preacher for trying to change a culture, Ford's character doesn't realize that he is just as guilty of interfering until it is too late. The troubled relationship between Ford and his son will tangle emotions as well. This is one of Harrison's very good roles.

Movie Review: If they'd only taken some guns... Summary: 5 Stars
A great study of the consequences of indulging in utopian idealism without either practicality or realistic preparedness. Harrison Ford plays a man who has a great dream of living in the wilderness isolated from civilization, but who is dangerously naive about both nature and human nature, and therefore woefully underprepared to deal with the menaces of both. A true classic.
Movie Review: "DEAD THINGS GO DOWNSTREAM! " Summary: 5 Stars
Dead things go downstream... Life is UPSTREAM! This movie captures what it means to achieve your goals and find nothing to support them only in desparation to grab at anything. Harrison Ford is spectacular!
