Movie Review: Good family movie
Summary: 4 Stars

I've loved Hayley Mills for years and I've enjoyed introducing her to my kids. Of course the book was ten times better but this is a Disney movie and certain things were'nt allowable at the time. Still we enjoy watching this over and over again. The heroine isn't a wimp either! That much carried over into the film.

Movie Review: A Pleasure to Have

Though this movie reflects the era it was made for I loved it as a young woman and find it still has all the parts I love in a movie: music, acting, character development, morals, location and plot. Great fun. I enjoyed Eli Wallach in this and more recently in the movie, "The Holiday".

What a wonderful place this film was shot at. The scenery alone and the beautiful fishing village was amazing. I wonder if you can still find beautiful places like this one where capitalism hasn't killed the wonderful essence and spirit of people, the earth and the community.
