Movie Review: The Moon-Spinners

I have enjoyed this movie for years. It is loosely based on a novel by a book with the same title by Mary Stewart. It was a fantastic book. Disney kept the spirit of the book & toned it down for a wider audience. The quality of the DVD was good. Sound & picture crisp & clear. I recommend this DVD to anyone who enjoys a good story with adventure & intrigue that they can watch with the entire family regardless of age.Movie Review: Flashback to age 13....

What are these people grousing about? This is WONDERFUL!!! It has no bells & whistles, it's from the 60's, for crying loud out.... : )
Love the full screen display, it's all I can use anyway. Peter McEnery was no buff hunk, but he was/is very pretty indeed (sigh).
Great movie for us oldtimers! And open minded youngtimers.
Movie Review: Hayley's a hoot!

Loved this movie. So English and polite. I love Hayley Mills movies. Brings back wonderful childhood memories. A happy little adventure with some tense moments, not as sophisticated as movies today but so much nicer to watch. No bad language - so refreshing.
Pollyanna is another Hayley favourite.

I'm giving it 5 stars because the movie is really good. If you love Haley Mills you have to have it. The plot is exciting and holds your interest. I agree though the movie should be widescreen but had to give it 5 stars on my impression of the movie and not the DVD and Disney's stupid decisions.Movie Review: Still Enjoying

Saw this movie (more then once!) in the theater when first released and thought it was great. Ordered one for my family and one for my brother's family when I realized it was on DVD. It is still a pleasure to watch, and a good one for the family!
