Movie Review: The biggest upset ever
Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great movie because it brings to light the differences in the way sports are played in the USA and Britin. In 1950 Britin played soccer as gentlemen. They played hard within the rules and when the game was over they left all of there differences on the field. In sharp condrast the USA played to win at all costs and when the game was over they brought the grudges back home with them. This is a great movie telling the great upset in USA soccer histroy outside of the 2002 world cup.Movie Review: The Miracle Match

Excellent film--really great performances by the major actors. An exciting and engaging film about the "birth" of the organized game of futbol (known as soccer) in the U.S. In the early 1950s, the game was virtually unknown as a professional sport in this country. The Miracle Match gives insight into the beginning "fever" in scattered neighborhoods across the U.S., and how easy it is to become addicted to this game which is so popular in Europe and elsewhere in the world.Movie Review: Awesome Movie!!!!

A great movie for anyone who has any interest in soccer. It is a creative blend of character and history. For a low-budget flick that got very little attention in the US, they do a wonderful job of "taking you back in time" to this time and place (St. Louis). Our family all enjoyed this so much in the theater that we waited the 9 months it took to get it on DVD. A movie with old-fashion morals and proof that hard work and dedication do pay off.Movie Review: A Great Find

We love soccer and films about soccer. This one was very good in that it was based on truth and had some great soccer playing in it. There were also some small lessons on race, religion and sportsmanship but...a great soccer match at the end. We bought it at Amazon, watched it, then sent it to our grandson (the soccer player) for Christmas. He said he'd been looking for it for some time and was very happy to have it.Movie Review: Miracle Match a great story

Saw this movie on a cruise ship- it was excellent. Got to know all the men on the team personally. It was amazing to watch this team come together as they weren't all from St. LOuis and their was a rivalry. They had many obstacles but overcame them The soccer footage was amazing. It made you feel so proud to be an Ameican. Have been waiting for this one to come out.
