Movie Reviews of The Mechanic

Movie Review: The Mechanic
Summary: 5 Stars

Charles Bronson(The Man in my opinion) and Jan-Michael Vincent(Trucker movie:"White Line Fever" among others) both star in this great action/organized crime drama and thriller.Although I find Charles Bronson pulling a better performance throughout the movie. It does not have any bad acting, there is silence going in at the start and an air of mystery despite being predictable and yes it does bog down sometimes,Some great Action sequences and Cinematography and The Surprise Ending that is really great and ends the movie on a high note.

Movie Review: Biased by Questar.
Summary: 5 Stars

This film indeed shows the contrast in film only action effects of the 1960's when it is compared to current effects available with the use of animation. I purchased the DVD especially for the scenes showing the use of the Questar 3.5 inch reflective telescope. The film itself is an intriguing interplay between bad guy number one and bad guy number two and which one will win. It is a film which you can sit down and watch and enjoy. Maybe you'll have a little sardonic smile afterward.

Movie Review: CHICKEN LICKIN' IS LICKIN' CHICKEN
Summary: 5 Stars

This one is definitely a classic from Bronson's (and Michael Winner's) heyday. Even 30 years after its release, it can still compete with what's released today. Granted, there have been major innovations in weaponry, hardware and extreme motocross since then, but the performances of Bronson and Vincent are beyond compare. A remake would only ruin it. As for bringing Mr. Majestyk and Telefon onto DVD, we approve of that plan, Mr. Bishop, click......

Movie Review: This is prime "Chuck" at his best...
Summary: 5 Stars

This is prime "Chuck" at his best! He plays a hit man for hire and it is no holds bared from the begining to the end. This movie has often been imitated, but never topped. Charles Bronson at his best. The supporting cast is excellent too... you might even spot Celeste Yarnall, as she has a small part in the movie (one of my all time favorite film women of film).

Movie Review: Charles in charge!
Summary: 5 Stars

When someone says the name Charles Bronson, I immediately think of "The Mechanic." The image of Bronson brushing his hair out of his eyes at the begining is classic. Jan-Michael Vincent of "White line fever" White Line Feverfame co-stars as well.
