Movie Review: What a Surprise!!
Summary: 5 Stars
I loved Jim Carrey in "Dumb and Dumber" also "Pet Detective" but I always thought this guy would be great in a drama or romance. Finally here it is, drama and romance all in one movie. I think this movie will catapult Jim Carrey into a class of serious actors or should I say he will be taken seriously as an actor. This is a really great movie that the whole family can enjoy. It has a cast of great actors and actresses. Weather you buy this DVD or rent it, just watch and I think you will be very pleased. Personally I'm glad I bought this movie. I was into tears soon after story turned out. Scene of Peter Appleton and his dad
is charged with emotions that are seldom seen in Hollywood these days; than movie begin jumping
haphazardly over the most important subjects in our lives: honestly, love, happiness. I find myself
hard to control tears and smile until the end. It is a beautiful movie; I enjoyed every beat, and will
probably have to see it a couple more times.

When I first saw this movie while flipping through the channels on cable I didn't think I would like it, but I ended up watching it till the end and liked it a lot. To me, it shows the meaning of what one person can do to affect the lives of others. Peter Appleton loses his memory in a car accident and everyone thinks he is a war hero who's been missing for several years. People in the town who are sad about World War 2 losses get hope again. WOW! This is an incredible movie! Jim carrey is my favorite actor and this is his greatest performance! This way better than the Truman Show(which I still Loved) This is the 2nd greatest movie I have ever seen! It is an amazingly touching story about Love,War and the brave soldiers who died defending our country. This is such a great movie! I love it so much every time I see it I cry about 10 times you feel so bad for the characters and there pain is so real. This Should have been a huge hit movie but it wasnt but it is the 2nd best in my eyes.Movie Review: Great STORY + Great ACTING = GREAT MOVIE ! ! !

"THE MAJESTIC" Everyone is fantastic in this movie. Very tight acting and very believable characters. It's easy to care for them and want what they want. Jim Carrey is fantastic, too. He can really bring a tear to the eye when he wants to. He does a SUPERB JOB and I am impressed. I didn't know Ace Ventura had it in him.
If you like movies that are meaningful and thought pervoking then I highly recommend 'The Majestic'. Taking a serious movie in, now and then, helps to keep life into perspective. GREAT MOVIE!!!
