Movie Review: Magic School Bus Definitely Intrigues My Son
Summary: 4 Stars
We got this video for my four year old son at Christmas. He loves anything to do with space and he watched this video over and over again. I definitely have already gotten my money's worth, and it's only February. The Magic School Bus series is a really good one from an education standpoint, as well as an entertainment one. I would recommend this to other parents with kids of elementary age or even younger, like mine.

Includes 3 out-of-this-world adventures: Arnold's know-it-all cousin Janet drives the whole class crazy when she joins Ms. Frizzle's class on a field trip and The Magic School Bus GETS LOST IN SPACE! After Dorothy Ann sees an asteroid on a crash course toward their school, the class blasts into space. Will they be able to divert the asteroid and save the day? Find out in this OUT OF THIS WORLD adventure! In TAKING FLIGHT, Wanda and the rest of the class discover how wings and moving air cause flight as they are shrunk inside Tim's model airplane.DVD Features:

The Magic School Bus heads for the sky and Ms. Frizzle's elementary school students learn all about flying and outer space in this trio of episodes. In "Magic School Bus Gets Lost in Space," a class field trip to the planetarium goes awry, so Ms. Frizzle heads the bus toward outer space for a tour of the planets in our solar system. Arnold's cousin Janet quickly exchanges skepticism for awe and becomes obsessed with gathering proof of her space travels--a quest that ultimately sets Ms. Frizzle floating loose in outer space. The gang returns to space to destroy an asteroid headed for their school in "Out of This World," learning all about orbits, comets, and asteroids along the way. Finally, the class discovers how air movement and wing design affect flight when they take a ride in Wanda and Tim's experimental remote-controlled airplane in "Taking Flight." DVD extras include an interactive "field trip" with onscreen facts about the planets in our solar system; English, French, or Spanish languages; and a DVD-ROM space adventure maze and instructions for building a mobile of the solar system.
